Information we use

We process account names, email addresses, encrypted password hashes, verification information, barcode content and settings, and a history of file export events. Server and security logs may include IP addresses and browser details.

Purpose

This information is used to register users, protect accounts, manage the private barcode library, deliver exports, administer the service and investigate misuse. Barcodes are generated on the server for authenticated users.

Where information is stored

Account and barcode metadata are stored in the application's configured database. Exports are generated on demand, rather than published publicly. Service providers such as the hosting provider and email provider may process necessary data.

Security and retention

Access is account-based. Passwords are hashed and private routes require authentication. The service operator should establish an actual retention schedule, backups and a process for user deletion requests before launch.
